The Holy Spirit shares with me today that none of us is a "fool".
How's this?
[Ecc 10:12] "The words of a wise man's mouth are
gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself."
The characteristics of a wise man is - words of
graciousness. In Hebrew -
"chên" is used for favour, precious, grace, elegance, acceptance. The same
word used in Greek is "Charis", the word we use to derive Grace from.
Funny though, we seemed to have lost the true meaning of the
word through time ...
Let me restore to you the exact meaning of the word in easy
terms:
GRACE = JESUS
So, let's look at the verse again.
It says: "The words of a wise man's mouth are [all] JESUS [goodness, kindness, mercy, Grace, patience, and truth - the character of
God and NOTHING CONTRARY]; but the lips of a fool will swallow up
himself."
HalleluYAH!
Didn't the Word of God also talk about the fool saying "the fool says in his
heart there is no God"? Ps 14:1. It swallows him up!
Glory to God that we have Jesus!
May He be the words of our mouths ever so constantly!
Praise Jesus!
Amen!
