Blessed fulfillment
Baruch ha ba ha Schem Adonai - blessed be He who cometh in the Name of the Lord - the original says: Blessed be He who who cometh in the name of Yahveh
Who is He?
Yah'shua! He is Yahveh!
Let's consider how the prophecy came true
Psa 118:26
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD [YHVH].
Mat 21:9
And the multitudes that went before , and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Mat 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Mar 11:9
And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
Mar 11:10
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
In our previous post titled Baruch ha ba ha Schem Adonai we discovered the details of Him Who comes in the name of Yahveh.
In this post we look at the fulfillment
Oh, this is wonderful to the praise and glory of our glorious victorious Yah'shua!
In light of the above let us now also consider the preceding verse 25
Psa 118:25
Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
This verse is quoted by all the Gospels and it deals with Jesus' entering of Jerusalem on the eve of the Pass-over before His Crucifixion.
In translated form it reads as stated above, but in the Hebrew it says Ho shi Yah na, normally Hosanna! We sing it all the time.
But what does it mean?
Ho shi Yah na means God (Yah) save (shua - like in Yah'shua) now and show prosperity.
Did they know?
When we read the Gospels we see Jesus entering Jerusalem as a King, as a Hero. His praises is sung by the whole of Jerusalem. Ho shi Yah na! are shouts of joy. It is the song of the season. Every Jewish person was getting ready for the Pass-over and the atonement. Psalm 118 was one of the designated psalms to sing all along. And here we find the people singing it to Jesus.
However, it was never meant to be sung to a person, but rather as a prayer to God. Yet, they are moved to sing it out loudly to Jesus. The words of the Psalm is meant to be shouted and attributed to the true Messiah only! They knew!
It gets even more clinical
Check it out. Ho shi Yah na occurs in conjunction with Baruch ha ba ha Shem Adonai so that everyone may be sure indeed Who it is that comes in the name of Yahveh.
Mat 21:9
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna [YHVH save now and show prosperity] in the highest.
Mar 11:9
And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
Luk 19:38
Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
Joh 12:13
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord [Yah'shua coming in the Name of Yah - Yah'shua (יהושע) icoming in the name of Yahveh (יהוה) Again, see here].
... and even more clinical
Remember when God gave the commandments he said that Israel should note well that Yahveh your God is one Yahveh - Sh'ma Yisra'el Yahuah Eloheinu Yahuah egad!
This was the moment!
They knew it, but they missed it the very next day.
Yahveh manifested as the man Yah'shua and died as the man Yah'shua and was raised one with Yahveh at all times. He was raised victorious as the manifested man-God.
A Man, Jesus was victorious and overcame the enemy!
Jesus is exalted because He is also Yahveh!
Let's do the math:
YHVH = Yah'shua and Yah'shua = YHVH.
Jesus was raised because we were declared righteous by Him because of His atoning offer. (Rom 4)
When Yah'shua ascended, He gave us back the very same power and authority to rule that the first Adam gave away. When God, after creating man, instructed to man rule over all the earth, He meant it!
It was man who had to rule. Yahveh does not turn upon His own Word! His gifts and callings are without repentance!
Yet , man abdicated his power to the enemy. God does not turn on His Word - a Man had to take it back. And it is for this very reason Yahveh had to manifest as man, in human flesh so that a Man could win back this authority!
And He gave it back to you and me as an inheritance, saying GO ... Say onto the mountain! Make disciples! Heal the sick! Cast out the demon!
We do not rule as subordinate slaves or with some sort of delegated authority. We have dominion as co-heirs and children of Yahveh with the fullness of God living in us, God who gave it all for this to be established in His Son!
What should we do?
Go ...
Take up your inheritance! Rule!
HalleluYAH!
