Search No 1: Try searching for the words "law" and
"forgiveness, forgave, forgive, etc." In the same sentence in Gods
Word.
Result No 1: None!
The law and forgiveness (redemption) can never be mentioned
in the same sentence! The sole purpose of the law is to show us what we can not
obtain through own works. The law condemns. That's it!
Search No 2: Search for "Grace" and
"forgiveness" in the same sentence in God's Word.
Result No 2: In direct terms it is found 4 times. In
indirect terms it is found numerous times showing that Grace (Jesus) and foregiveness
go hand-in-hand. HalleluYAH!
The law is blatantly unforgiving. Consider the man who tried to uphold it by
his own strength (incidentally his name actually means "strength"):
[1Ch 13:9-10]
v 9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon,
Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.
v 10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and
he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.
Truely, the letter of
the law kills ...
BUT THE SPIRIT OF GRACE MAKES ALIVE!
The Word declares in Isa 5:27 that when Yah'shua comes (and He did) "...None shall be weary nor stumble ..."
HalleluYAH!
