What to pray?
The author of Hebrews says in Heb 13:15: "By him
therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the
fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."
The word for "giving thanks" here is homologeō
from two Greek words:
Homo - the same, to be on one accord, to agree
Logos - Word of God,
truth, written Word
You see, our prayers should rather focus on giving praise to
God in agreement with His Word (Jesus)! Continually! On His Grace!
