What is expected of us in our calling?
What should we do?
What is expected of us?
Paul comes to the rescue in Rom 5:17: "For if by one man's offence death reigned by
one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ."
What shall we do?
We are expected by God to reign in this life.
Why?
Because we have been made the righteousness of God by Jesus
Christ.
How?
All we have to do is to RECEIVE the abundance of Grace and
of His righteousness.
Receive - is the wonderful Greek word lambano which means:
to take with the hand, to lay hold, to accept,
to embrace, to be amazed, to be
carried away ...
... having this hope and expectation that does not
disappoint, because the love of Elohim has been poured out liberally in our hearts by the
Set-apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) which was given to us. [Rom 5:5]
So that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might Grace (Jesus) reign through righteousness (us) unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. [Rom
5:21]
We are empowered to take charge of each and every situation (sickness, set-back, tragedy, problems, challenges, loss, etc.) according to every good and perfect gift already provided for by our beloved
Abba Abba and reign as sons and heirs of the Most High God true to His calling
for us.
Isn't God just amazing?
Oh, HalleluYAH!
