Have you ever considered the meticulous precision of God's Word? It's far more than a collection of stories or laws; it's a divinely inspired blueprint, a living revelation. Nothing within its sacred pages is there merely to fill space or for an insignificant reason. Every single word and letter, every sentence and sequence, is purposefully placed in its appropriate and appointed spot to unveil Yah'shua (Jesus), our Christ, and to give Him glory. He is the Living Word. As Jesus Himself declared in John 5:39 (KJV), "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." And after His resurrection, He opened the understanding of His disciples: "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." (Luke 24:27, KJV). HalleluYAH!

This divine precision extends even to the sequence of God's words when He speaks of blessings. Have you noticed it?

God the Healer: Receiving Wholeness Through Christ's Finished Work for the Ekklēsia

In the vast tapestry of divine revelation, one of the most comforting and profound truths is that God is our Healer. From the earliest covenants to the glorious finished work of Christ, the Lord consistently reveals Himself as the one who restores, makes whole, and delivers from sickness and infirmity. This isn't a peripheral aspect of His character, but a central declaration of His benevolent heart towards humanity. Understanding God as our Healer is not merely an intellectual exercise; it is an invitation for His beloved Ekklēsia—the called of God—to experience His boundless compassion and the complete provision made for us in Jesus Christ.

In the IT world we define “logic” as a system of reasoning used to design, develop, understand and maintain a system of intelligence and operations. It's the foundation for processing information and making decisions based on underlying principles.

I asked AI for some English language expressions where the word "logic" is used to get some sort of understanding of how we humans see "logic". Here is the result:

Wherever whosoever - looking back

Years ago we started a ministry. We shared the Gospel, prayed for people in hospital and fellowshipped the way we knew how. wwm celebrated this ministry journey of witnessing wherever and whenever the opportunity arose. The world around us was our platform as we ministered to the sick in hospital and saw countless healed, shared the Gospel in street ministries and saw many come to Jesus, witnessed at social fellowships and experienced concordance in worship. We were geared to share our experiences and the incredible power of God's grace and authority.

Ordinary people, who knew they were deeply loved by Abba and chose to walk boldly in His grace and authority. As miracles unfolded before our eyes, we marveled at the extraordinary works of our Lord Jesus Christ, exceedingly and abundantly more than what we asked or imagined. Our Gospel was the only thing that we knew - the finished work of our Jesus. We proclaimed nothing outside of His mercy, grace, patience, goodness, kindness, truth, and unwavering love.

Sometimes I sit and I think … sometimes I just sit …

I will be the first to admit that sometimes I am clueless when it comes to prayer and the words I need to pray (and declare, mostly). But, there is a way out when we do not know what to pray and what to say.

1 Corinthians 14:2 reads, "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." Over the course of the last week or so my wife and I were again reminded of the rotten thinking of so many sincere Christians, and how we used to and sometimes still think ourselves … sincere, but defeated Christians.

Healing - distance, delay and matters of control

The other day my daughter asked me to pray for her. She had stomach cramps, pains and something that resembled severe stomach spasms.

And I was reminded

As I prayed against all these things, cancelling the plans of the enemy, commanding the sickness and pain to go, and confirming the finished work of Yah’shua over her physical body, I was yet again reminded of how that we have this precious gift of healing inside of us and how that we often neglect to use it.

I was once again reminded how the institutional church teaches the bride of Christ that God is far, that He is on His own time schedule and that He is always in control. So, we must just accept whatever we get. Their favourite saying is “His time is not our time” and “His ways are not our ways”.

The Word is Life, Medicine unto all flesh

Actually, it is very simple, straight-forward question with a very simple straight-forward Answer. And we find it (...Him) spread out through all scripture.

It is used a lot in the world of computer programming and data analysis. But it holds true for most of life ...

We are what we eat ... so the nutritionists say.

Are we?

Double-edged Sword?

The Bible is a magnificent tapestry woven with a singular, radiant thread: Jesus Christ. It is crucial to grasp this foundational truth: the Bible is NOT primarily about us. It is NOT a manual to be followed whereby we may attain righteousness. It is NOT a set of principles, rules, guidelines, prescriptions, ordinances, or a recipe that, when meticulously followed, makes us right before God. To approach it this way is to miss its very heart and to inadvertently place ourselves back under a system of works that Christ perfectly ended.

The Word IS all about Jesus! And because Jesus is all about you (in Him you are made righteous, justified, sanctified, made holy, a new person), the Word of God just screams "Jesus" on every page and in every verse. First you need to find Jesus, then you find you. If you find Jesus, you find life. In Him, your entire being stands perfected, justified, and forever secured through His finished work.

Eating with the sinners AGAIN! - Mercy rather than sacrifice

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine

Sometimes a word is used only once or twice in the Word of God, usually for a reason. 

Right there, we must expect to find a hidden treasure (see here), a very special message.

This time around the word has to do with healing, to be set free! Your medicine.

Does the truth matter?

Why does John, who refers to himself as the beloved disciple of Jesus, place such great emphasis on Truth?

Because the truth matters.

Because the Truth matters.

Writing to his friend Gaius whom he "loves in truth" he says:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 3Jn 1:2-3

Why?

... that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3Jn 1:2

So that all things prosper.

So that you may be in health.

So that all things you set your hand to, collectively and individually may be healthy and prosperous!

Because He is the Truth. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Joh 14:6

Because Jesus says ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Joh 8:32

Know here is the word ginōskō which means to have an intimate relationship, an acquaintance, an intimacy such as that which exists between a man and a woman, lovers with the Truth (Jesus).

Here's a bit of free logic we sometimes overlook. If the intimacy with Truth will set you free then it is only logical that intimacy with the lie and deception (works of the devil) will place you in bondage.

Jesus is the breaker of the bondage. He is the conqueror of the cancer in your life, the victorious One over desolate and desperate and hopeless situations and He is the One Who has completely and utterly dealt with those things on the cross. Our responsibility ... is to receive, appropriate, apply this great salvation into manifestation wherever we go.

This is the Truth.

This is our Jesus.

What is the Truth concerning you and me?

You are righteous, spotless, blameless.

You are fully restored in God's image.

You are an joint-heir in Abba Father's Kingdom to take authority over sickness, setback, lies, adversity ...

You are utterly blessed and entitled to each and every good and perfect Gift from Abba.

You are healed and healthy in Christ.

You are prosperous.

You are rich.

You have everything.

You are blessed.

You are made whole.

You are a new being. The old is gone.

You are beautiful.

Why does it matter?

It matters because in this life you can make application of It (Him) ... and prosper!

What should we do with this great Truth?

Apply it! Mix it with conviction (Heb 4:2) and have intimacy with It! - Stir It into your cup (being) and drink deep (appropriate)! Relax! Rest! Apply the done deal wherever and whenever necessary ... and claim your victory in Christ!

Deferred ... or Living Hope?

Just like Grace, Hope is a Person ...

Instead of postponing our Hope, we have a Hope that is alive and living inside us, Who guides us and leads us and even make intersession on our behalves.

We were made to win!

We were destined to conquer!

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot." I've heard many teachings saying that we will only be hot once we do more for the kingdom ... when we pray every day ... pray more ... read more ... attend more ... Laodiceans [Laodicea - justice of the people - those walking in works of own righteousness instead of the imputed righteousness given to us by Jesus]

Why would Jesus say that He would prefer them to be either cold or hot?

Why don't you quicken the dead!

Jesus is the way. The way God do things is through His Word. In the beginning God created by speaking His Word. Jesus healed, cast out the demons, raised the dead and called those things that were not into manifestation by speaking the word.

Healing: nurturing faith ... or unbelief

I recently recalled an encounter with someone who was quite upset being told that if the person he prayed for wasn't healed, the problem was with him praying. 

He was to be blamed for harboring unbelief while the afflicted person had nothing to do with the healing not manifesting. Well, as you can see there is quite a bit of self-condemnation going on for the person who really prayed from a compassionate heart.

Wheat, Wine & Oil

I'm sure you have noticed that nothing is in the Word of God merely for the sake of filling the pages or for any insignificant reason. Every word and letter, every sentence and sequence of letters, words and sentences, every single one along with the whole, is placed exactly in the appropriate and appointed spot to reveal Yah'shua, our Christ and to give Him glory. HalleluYAH!

Have you noticed the sequence of God's words when He talks about blessings?

It is most always in the same sequence (Gen 27:37, Deu 33:28,
Hos 2:8, Joe 2:19,Neh 5:11, Jer 31:12, Hag 1:11, Neh 10:39, etc.) in the old covenant with regards to what we consume (receive), followed by other material blessings.

It always talks first about the wheat (bread, barley, corn, grain), secondly about the wine (vineyard, grapes, vine) and thirdly about the oil (dew, olive oil) Although, at times the oil is mentioned first ... for a reason.

Why?

... and why the sequence?

The sequence is introduced to us the first time in Gen 14:18  And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. Bread and wine. It is Melchizedek who brings to Abram bread and wine. Who is Melchizedek? Correctly translated His name means King of Righteousness. 

Who is the King of Righteousness by Whose deaht we became the righteousness of God?

Yah'shua (Jesus) of cause! 

He brings the bread (His body) and wine (His blood)!

Bread is lechem (food for man, to nurture and build) or dâgân (increase, become stronger) - in reference (prophecy) to the body of Yah'shua (Jesus). His body was crushed for our healing.

Wine should be afforded a little more attention, since the Hebrew has several words for wine each descriptive of another kind of wine. Let's look at three of them:

• yayin - fermented or intoxicating wine. From an unused root meaning to effervesce; wine (as fermented); by implication intoxication: - banqueting, wine, wine [-bibber]. Gen 9:21  And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
• shêkâr - an intoxicant, that is, intensely alcoholic liquor: - strong drink, drunkard, strong wine usually mixed with other substances. Jdg 13:4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing.
• tı̂yrôsh - in the sense of expulsion (squeezed); must or fresh grape juice (as just squeezed out); (new, sweet) wine. Gen 27:28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine.

The wine (tı̂yrôsh) refers (prophecy) to the freshly squeezed blood of Yah'shua on the cross that was spilled for our redemption, the seal on the New Testament that proclaims our righteousness and sanctifies us. That's why Yahshua says in Mat 9:17  Neither do men put new wine into old bottles - the Gospel of Grace (new) can not be placed or mixed with the old in the old container (the law, Heb 8:13  In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away). 

Oil is yitshâr referring to oil: (as producing light); anointing; anointed, oil or shemen richness: - anointing, fat, fruitfulness, oil, ointment, olive, to make shine. 2Ch 32:28 says: Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.

Oil speaks of our blessings because of Yah'shua. Refer to a certain type of Yah'shua - the son-of-promise, Isaac or yitschâq (see the resemblance with yitshâr)?  It also speaks about the Holy Spirit, the Latter Rain. The precious Gift from heaven Who brings to our remembrance all that the Former Rain (Yah'shua) has taught us and even show us things to come. It refers to a very Special Anointing, the Spirit of Power, the Spirit of Truth poured out upon us, the very Breath of God blown into us. HalleluYAH!

Interestingly, in the Hebrew the word rain and teacher has the same base word yârâh - meaning to water, properly flow, teach, transmit, lay forth, instruct, inform. How beautiful the footsteps of Him who brings us both the Former and Latter Teacher (Hos 6:3, Joe 2:23, Zec 10:1, Deu 11:14, etc.)

Now these verses make a whole lot of sense:

From the old covenant as a prophecy onto both teachers:
Deu 11:14  That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

From the New Testament as prophecy fulfilled of both teachers:
Jas 5:7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 

Now contemplate again 1Co 11:23-30:

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily [not distinguishing the body of Yah'shua from His blood], shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

But let a man examine himself [see that you are righteous], and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily [not distinguishing the body of Yah'shua from His blood], eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

You are utterly blessed!

Stripes that bind!

Sometimes I need to be attentive ...

... more so when I read in the old covenant.

We are all familiar with Isaiah 53:4-5. Yet, there is something so purely intimate about this passage and recently I discovered that it comes out so clearly and beautifully in the Hebrew.

It has to be shared!
