Jesus
is the way. The way God do things is through His Word. In the beginning God
created by speaking His Word. Jesus healed, cast out the demons, raised the
dead and called those things that were not into manifestation by speaking the word.
The
way God make things happen is through Jesus, His Word. Yah’shua, Jesus, is the
Word from the beginning.
How
then do we exercise our restored, inherited authority in this world?
Through
the Word!
Exactly
the same Way God does. He lives in and through us. The same Power …
Abba
Abba recently shared with me about physical, bodily healing that does not
immediately manifest.
I was
reminded first of all by Abba about His unmerited favour, His Grace.
During an early morning jog with Him He gave me Romans 4 upon a question I
asked about the very subject.
In my Spirit Filled Bible I scribbled in the side-lines
at several places next to the verses of Romans 4 “Grace Understood”.
Paul
explains through the old covenant examples of Abraham and David how
righteousness is accounted to man outside of works (the law) and how the law (Messianic
or any man-made law) renders Faith (God’s faith working in and through us) void and the promise made to no effect (verse 14). Accepting and exercising
God’s Faith in our lives establishes Grace (Jesus) so that the promise might be
sure (bebaios: stable, fast, stand firm, sure, trusty) in our lives (verse 16
and going on to verse 17) before (katenanti: in His stead here on earth – taken
from the original Greek root word) Him whom he (Abraham) believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead,
and calleth those things which be not as though [so that] they were.
How
does God manifest?
He
calls, using His Word, those things that are not, to be!
If
healing is not there, He calls it into place!
If peace is not there, He calls it into being!
If Lazarus is not alive, He calls him to be alive!
Restoration,
life, prosperity, harmony ... All these have been called into being from the cross. It lives
inside of us. Ready to be received (lambano) by us and declared into being!
Therefore if
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Co 5:17
Even where
there is no hope, like in the case of Abraham - Rom
4:18 Who against
hope [elpis: expectation, surety, sense, confidence] believed in hope, that he might become the
father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
God
does not dwell on the past. He does not look at the situation at hand and says;
“Oh well, you know what? This is a little too big for Me to handle!”
No!
In
fact, He has already dealt with it completely on the cross! And now having
restored our original purpose and being in Him, expects us to exercise our dominion
rights and privileges!
Authentic Faith (Jesus) does not deny the problem at hand, but declares that what He did on the cross is by far, immeasurably greater than the obstacle.
When
Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:9 quotes the prophecy of the prophet
Isaiah that came wonderfully true in Jesus, our Father’s heart is revealed: But as it is
written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart
of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
… and
when the healing doesn't manifest?
It has
to! It must!
We turn
to James, the younger brother of Jesus.
James
brilliantly explains our position in Jesus and in James 2:20 says: But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without
works is dead?
James
says that having exercised our faith in Jesus, we do what?
Works.
No, not the works of the law. Instead. We do as if. We ergon:
we do our business, we employ, we act with confidence, we do the very thing we
spoke into existence.
Is it
not worthy of Yah’shua to declare: And he
that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. Rev 21:5
In this new season that we call 2015
in the western world, I bless you that you may ergon upon the things that you
called into being – each and every good and perfect gift that Abba Abba blessed
you with, that you may stand amazed at your own prosperity in Yah'shua!
Shalom, Shalom!
