Mystery of the ascended and descended One

Charitoo, see how in the old testament is the new testament concealed and how in the new testament is the old testament revealed in the fulfillment of prophecy:

A great wise king prophesied in proverbs a mystery that was used often by the Jews but this mystery they even today do not comprehend:

Pro 30:4-6
v 4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

v 5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

v 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

... and the Word says in Proverbs 25:2 "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter."

Watch and give honour as the King of kings, Yah'shua Himself reveals out the matter and of the One who fulfills the prophecy and the mystery itself when He answers Nicodemus talking about Himself in John 3:

Joh 3:13
"And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."

It remains ever so interesting that the actual word that Jesus uses when He explains to Nicodemus that he should be born again when it is directly translated, really means to be born FROM ABOVE in the preceding verse 7.

Joh 3:7
"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

Mystery revealed! Sins repealed!

Because He descended from above and paid the full price you are born from above and now can ascend to above!

HalleluYAH!

Expected end of the righteous

God's plan for the righteous conforms with His original plan for man to rule on this earth.

Following the story of Jesus in Isaiah (especially 53) we come to the beautiful conclusion ... the promise of restoration fulfilled by the Messiah:

Isa 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Behold the glory of YHVH and receive your inheritance.

You have authority over sickness, troubles, shortage, set-back, turmoil, ...

Speak to the mountain in your life and rule over your circumstances in the victory of Yah'shua!

You have aurhority.
You are a child of the King!

From Confusion to Feast!

Standing back, knowing which side of the cross we are looking from, knowing our position as heirs - let us now consider the whole of the book of Haggai.

Two witnesses

… ever realised, meditated on the fact that we have been predestined by our Abba Abba to inherit ALL perfect gifts He had in mind for us?

Consider the following old testament prophecy spoken by Moses, keeping in mind that Joshua was a type of Christ … a very relevant type since his name has exactly the same meaning, it is spelled the same way except for a very small minute detail, it is pronounced the same and he lead the people into liberty after the law (Moses):

Deu 31:7
"And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it."

Two witnesses - the law and the prophets will testify to His (Jesus') exceedingly great Glory!

My friend, your inheritance had been prophesied even before you were born and it is sure.

Praise Jesus!

Ho shi Yah na - Baruch ha ba ha Schem Adonai!

Blessed fulfillment

Baruch ha ba ha Schem Adonai - blessed be He who cometh in the Name of the Lord - the original says: Blessed be He who who cometh in the name of Yahveh

Who is He?

Yah'shua! He is Yahveh!

God made known!

Agapetos,

Isn't it good that the secret is out and the mystery unveiled? The revelation shown in the open?

Isn't it an amazing open display of the love of a God who is Love Himself and gave it all so that we may have all?

Isn't this a great, open declaration of Love so great that it can not be contained!

Rom 16:25-27 KJV
v 25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

v 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

v 27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

All of the universe Is not large enough to contain His Perfect Love, yet the fullness of Him is contained in man!

Truely,  His love never fails!

Law & Forgiveness???

Here is a bit of elementary research that might amaze you.

Search No 1: Try searching for the words "law" and "forgiveness, forgave, forgive, etc." In the same sentence in Gods Word.

Result No 1: None!

The law and forgiveness (redemption) can never be mentioned in the same sentence! The sole purpose of the law is to show us what we can not obtain through own works. The law condemns. That's it!

Search No 2: Search for "Grace" and "forgiveness" in the same sentence in God's Word.

Result No 2: In direct terms it is found 4 times. In indirect terms it is found numerous times showing that Grace (Jesus) and foregiveness go hand-in-hand. HalleluYAH!

The law is blatantly unforgiving.  Consider the man who tried to uphold it by his own strength (incidentally his name actually means "strength"):

[1Ch 13:9-10]
v 9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.

v 10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Truely,  the letter of the law kills ...
BUT THE SPIRIT OF GRACE MAKES ALIVE!

The Word declares in Isa 5:27 that when Yah'shua comes (and He did) "...None shall be weary nor stumble ..."

HalleluYAH!

Who is scourged?

Charitoo,

In Hebrews 12:5-6 the author of Hebrews quotes a portion of from Proverbs 3: 11-12.

... and the translation is troubling ...

Have we been deceived?

Tragically, these verses were used through the centuries in their flawed form to deceive many in the institutional church.

The abuse of the perverted translation thereof was used to preach mass condemnation and self-condemnation. It continues to be used in like fashion to this very day.

What happened?

The translation and re-translation of this piece of scripture by using words like Scourge and chastise ... and especially outside of the context thereof, fits nicely with the deception plan of the enemy.

Let's take a closer look ...

It is important to note how the author of Hebrews starts the part of scripture in verse 5:

And ye have forgotten the EXHORTATION which speaketh unto you as unto children … followed by the quote from Proverbs 3:11-12

Paul (I'm convinced he wrote Hebrews) says it here. He is trying to uplift and encourage his audience. Not trying to discourage and depress them.

Exhort is what the Holy Spirit does!

The word used in the Greek for exhortation is paraklēsis. It comes from the same Greek root word that Jesus used for the Holy Spirit when He referred to him as our Comforter (parakletos) (John14, 15 & 16).

This the word for the Holy Spirit, our Consolation and the word paraklēsis is also translated with calling near or the One called to one’s side. This is the One scripture refers to as being close to you even in your heart and in your mouth (Rom 10:8)– It can not be any different!

You can't be closer to Comfort

He is the One Whom Jesus said is in all respects exactly as He (Jesus) is and the One Who will bring into remembrance all things He (Jesus) taught and Who would show us things even to come - the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, as an integral part of us!

So, let's look at the cited section ...

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
Pro 3:11-12

You see! He Chastise us!

Does God (our loving Father) scourge and chastise and chasten us?
Does He send disease?
... or misfortune?
... or tragedy?
... or need or want?
... or adversity?

No!

Then what?

How does God Teach us?

We need to be very clear on this once and for all.

Ephesians 5:26 makes it clear that we are (being) sanctified and cleansed by the washing of His Word (Jesus!). Not by scourging and chastening. There is no other way.

Jesus died for all our iniquities, our sins, our blemishes, lacks, deficiencies, every curse and every disease?

What will God chastise us for then?

Does chastening mean chastening?

Look closely ...

The Hebrew word mûsâr translated as chastening here can be better translated with the English word: correction, instruction, warning or teaching. Can you see how it starts to make better sense now within the context of exhortation (paraklēsis).

The Greek word mastigoō translated in this scripture as scourge (verse 6 of Heb 12) can be much better translated into the English as: to handle or to direct.

Hebrews 12 is uplifting, not depressing!

Justify our circumstance through wrong translation

The perverted translation of this chapter in Hebrews works even better if we try and justify our adverse circumstances ant attribute it to God. How pitiful!

Man-oh-man, God does not speak to you through your circumstances. He speaks to your through His Word!

We even read ourselves right into scripture meant for Jesus

It is even more astonishing that we try to apply this scripture to ourselves, whilst God pronounces it over Jesus!

I ask you: Who is even as a father the son in whom he delighteth?

Come on!

It is Jesus!

Jesus was chastised for our sins and sicknesses!

Jesus was scourged for our iniquities!

Hallelujah!

If you still do not believe me go on and read the whole of Hebrews chapter 12 and what it is all about . Verse 3 is just so clear!

Maybe we should read verse 3, right!

Hold on. This will rock your religious boat!

CONSIDER HIM THAT ENDURED SUCH CONTRADICTION OF SINNERS AGAINST HIMSELF, LEST YE BE WEARIED AND FAINT IN YOUR MINDS.

It is Jesus who took the full scourge and discipline and crush so that we do not have to ...

... lest we be wearied and faint in our minds!

HalleluYAH !!!!

Stripes that bind!

Sometimes I need to be attentive ...

... more so when I read in the old covenant.

We are all familiar with Isaiah 53:4-5. Yet, there is something so purely intimate about this passage and recently I discovered that it comes out so clearly and beautifully in the Hebrew.

It has to be shared!

Say onto the Mountain: Grace, Grace!

Let’s take a deeper dive into Zechariah 4:7 to discover the restoration of authority.

In Zechariah 4:7, we find a powerful prophecy about the restoration of authority and dominion. This prophecy was fulfilled through the resurrection of Yah'shua, our Lord and Savior. Let's delve deeper into this verse and explore its significance for believers today.

What to Speak?

The Holy Spirit shares with me today that none of us is a "fool".

How's this?

[Ecc 10:12] "The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself."

The characteristics of a wise man is - words of graciousness.  In Hebrew - "chên" is used for favour, precious, grace, elegance, acceptance. The same word used in Greek is "Charis", the word we use to derive Grace from.

Funny though, we seemed to have lost the true meaning of the word through time ...

Let me restore to you the exact meaning of the word in easy terms:

GRACE = JESUS

So, let's look at the verse again.

It says: "The words of a wise man's mouth are [all] JESUS [goodness, kindness, mercy, Grace, patience, and truth - the character of God and NOTHING CONTRARY]; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself."

HalleluYAH!

Didn't the Word of God also talk about the fool saying "the fool says in his heart there is no God"? Ps 14:1. It swallows him up!

Glory to God that we have Jesus!

May He be the words of our mouths ever so constantly!
Praise Jesus!
Amen!

Hab3 speaks of Him ...

Can you see Jesus on the cross ... and everything He did when reading Habakkuk 3?

Every word testifies about Him!

It's mind-blowing!

Let's consider a single verse:

[Hab 3:18] TS "Yet I exult in יהוה, I rejoice in the Elohim of my deliverance."

... see what it says?

It says "I rejoice in Yah'shua [directly translated: God is Deliverance or Salvation - the Hebrew Name of Jesus]"

Glory to Yah'shua!
Glory to God is my Salvation!
Glory to יהושע
Glory to Jesus!

The rock came to know ...

Back to Peter.

Isn't it just awesome how this rock-hard man (who's name means 'rock') was transformed by the kindness and love and grace of Jesus.

You know Peter. He was this tough fisherman who stood unmoved in the law. He didn't hesitate to do his own works. It was Peter who, on the Mount of Transfiguration,  wanted to straight-away build huts for Moses (the law) and Elijah (the prophets) wanting to give them honour at the same level as Jesus (Grace). But God Himself intervened and said of His Son: "This is My Beloved Son. HEAR HIM."

It was Peter who wanted to take matters into his own hands drawing a sword when the soldiers was about to arrest Jesus.

... but this man, Peter, was gradually and completely transformed by walking with Jesus - ultimately getting to know Grace (Jesus) to the extent that he declared filled with the Holy Spirit of life:

[2Pe 1:2-3]
v 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

v 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue

The word that Peter uses for "knowledge" comes from the Greek base word "epiginōsko"̄  meaning:
  • to become thoroughly acquainted with,
  • to know thoroughly
  • to know accurately,
  • to know well
  • to know
  • to recognize by sight, hearing, of certain signs,
  • to perceive who a person is
  • to know, i.e. to perceive
  • to know, i.e. to find out, ascertain
  • to know, i.e. to understand

This is marriage-talk!
It us relationship-talk to the ultimate!
It is heart-talk
It is intimacy-talk!
It is understanding Jesus as you personal Friend and Saviour!

When looking at these verses, we can only say that Peter became thoroughly acquainted with Grace and Peace Himself! HalleluYAH!

HalleluYAH!

Righteousness of God?

Oh righteous one of God,

Just wanted to remind you that a feast is being prepared as we speak ...

No!

"No!"

There is a simple word that we just sometimes do not want to understand - it is the word "no".

When Paul says in Rom 8:1 "There is therefore now NO condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus",

This is the definite article ... it actually means:
no,
nothing,
not even one thing,
nada,
zulch,
- no!

So, if you hear a message telling you of your guilt and shame before God, how your sins will be accounted to you ... what you should do to please God. This type of message simply is not the Gospel. It is not the Good News. It is certainly not the news that emphasizes that  Jesus paid the full price. it does not confirm the complete work of Jesus on the cross. It is not the love letter of Jesus.

If you hear a message that makes you feel condemned for any reason ... it's the devil's message. Rebuke it at once and discard immediately!

The Word says you are:
forever righteous before God,
blameless,
without spot or blemish,
sanctified,
holy,
loved!

HalleluYAH!

God's Word - Your Exceedingly Great Reward

Charitoo,

The first time the Word dâbâr [dâbâr - word, matter, affair] of God (Jesus) in this direct manner, is mentioned in the Bible is in Gen 15:1 ... and it comes with an awesome blessing.

[Gen 15:1] KJV "After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."

JESUS IS OUR EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD!
We need look no further.
HalleluYAH!

What to pray?

What to pray?

The author of Hebrews says in Heb 13:15: "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

The word for "giving thanks" here is homologeō from two Greek words:

Monday, 21 July 2014

What is your admission?

What is your admission?

Peter says in 2Pe 1:11 "For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

"For so..."?

How?

Let's see:

Verse 2-4 says exactly how:

[2Pe 1:2-4] KJV
v 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

v 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

v 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Amen!

So, we are free to declare:
Sickness is a corrupting. ..
Loss is a corruption ...
Accident is a corruption ...
Poverty is a corruption ...
Relationship problems ...
Shortage ....
Limitations ...
Bondage ...
... all corruption of God’s perfect plan.

We accordingly declare ourselves partakers of the divine nature of Christ, having escaped the corruption through His devine intervention!

... and we have an entrance into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. HalleluYAH!

Come on!
Receive Jesus!

Suffering? paschō?

Ever heard of paschō?

Are you sure?!

The Greek word that we translated as "suffering" ... and interpreted to mean "undergo pain and sorrow" is paschō. Many of us fall for this deception ...

But what does the word actually say? Do we have to suffer bad things?

opheilēma - debt - do

Beloved in Christ ... Charitoo,

... it is possible to stay in opheilēma - debt [that which is owed, that which is justly or legally due, a debt, metaphorically - offence, sin]

[Rom 4:3-5] KJV
v 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

v 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

v 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Grace is God's unmerited favour. You can not work to obtain it. You cannot abide by the law to obtain righteousness and earn it!
IT IS A FREE GIFT!

We can only receive!

Smith Wigglesworth said it well:

"Only believe!"

Single Shortest Prophecy ever!

Check out the single shortest recorded prophecy by and old covenant prophet:

Jonah - All he said to the people of Nineveh was:
"Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown." [Jon 3:4]

Check out the single shortest most awesome Gospel prophecy of the same prophet, Jonah:

"Salvation is of the LORD". [Jon 2:9] KJV

In fact ...

If you'd go to a concordance you'll discover that what he said was this:
"Yah'shua is Yahweh"

Let's translate it back!

"Jesus is God!"
He is the Lifesaver!
He is God-the-Redeemer!

... even onto a far removed, hostile people the likes of evil Nineveh!

... and His desire ... is than none should be lost!

U r soooo special!
