Doctrine and dogma
It is the doctrine of man.
It is a Pharisee's interpretation, turning and twisting ...
mixing of the truth with fable into a deadly concoction that suits their church dogma ...

Filthy, appalling rags
The Word used by Paul in Colossians is the word "beguile". Remember we spoke about this already here.
To be beguiled is to be deceived and bedazzled, bewitched, seduced, captured and deprived of your Reward, Jesus. That is what it means to be beguiled.
In the original Greek it is to be katabrabeuō-ed.
To be judged and found unworthy
To be beguiled is to be seriously down-graded. It is to kata - be judged less and to be demoted from your, brabeuō - Reward.
Freedom arrested
To be beguiled is to succumb and surrender to false teachings and rules and laws and prescripts and ordinances that take away your freedom and victory in Christ.
Guile is slimy substance of deceit that is poured onto the beautiful purity of Gospel. It is the little bit of dog poo mixed into the chocolate-brownie dough that renders it vulgar and awful and useless, unfit for human consumption.
The other, deadly Gospel
Beguilement is all that Paul warns against in the books of Galatians and Romans and here and elsewhere. It is the other Gospel he talks about and he out-rightly curses those who spread it.
Yet, we are dead to it
Paul does provide the answer for beguilement.
He says you are not subject to it because you have become dead and immune against it when you died with Christ.
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Col 2:20-22
That is exactly what Jesus is saying
No wonder Jesus says that it is our traditions and like things that we do that make the Word of God to none-effect. Mar 7:13
