Understanding - to put it all togegher!

Being brainwashed reduces man to a helpless, limited and restricted being ... pitiful and powerless in this world.

Jesus said it so many times. The problem is our unbelief.

Our unbelief is the direct result of our so-called doctrinal heritage - the stuff we hang onto.

This is the stuff we've been brainwashed with ... such as that God brings about hardship and sickness, trials and tribulations and adversity to teach us and make us, to form us into the person He wants us to be ... so that we may emerge stronger and that kind of nonsense.

Can I say it?

These are the words of the devil!

Do we understand?

The western concept of the word "understanding" is very limited.

Sometimes we understand not what we think we understand, not knowing that our traditions and like things have deceived us into a corrupted manner of thinking (Mark 7:13). Like Adam we eat of the wrong tree ...

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Pro 14:12

Only one way of understanding

The only Way is Jesus! He is our only reference for true understanding.

Let's look at Mary and Joseph, Jesus's parents' first encounter concerning real understanding:
And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding (sunesis: a mental putting together, that is, intelligence or (concretely), understanding from another compiled word suniēmi - see significance below) and answers.
And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. Luk 2:46-50
Its all in the word

The Greek word for understand is suniēmi from the root words sun and ἵημι hiēmi (to send); to put together, that is, (mentally) to comprehend ; by implication to act piously: - consider, understand, be wise. It is the ability to put together. The word-picture in the Hebrew for this word depicts: the house (you, the house of the Holy Spirit) of the Hand of life revealed (Grace).

What did the wise king Solomon say about understanding and knowledge and wisdom?

We catch up with his reasoning in Proverbs 9:10 where he says: The fear (reverence) of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom (chokmâh חכמה - pictograph showing fenced-in open-handed of mighty Grace): and the knowledge (da‛ath דּעת - pictograph showing entrance revealed by the cross) of the holy is understanding ( bı̂ynâh בּינה - pictograph showing the house of the Hand of life revealed (Grace)).

See the most wonderful picture in this scripture?

The sentence of pictures reconstructed

Let's do a quick literal translation of the word-pictures (pictographs) by loosing the extra words inserted in the English (is and and) which do not appear in the original Hebrew text and placing the words next to each other. Now it says:

Our first reverence: the secured, open Hand of mighty Grace the Entrance to eternal life revealed by the cross by the Holy One to the house (you) by the Hand of Life revealed!

What do you see?

It is a total, over-the-top emphasis on the revelation of Grace (Jesus) Himself.

Who is the One Who puts it all together?

Truely, He is before all things, and in him all things hold together Colossians 1:17

Jesus!

HalleluYAH!
