The problem with finding but still searching ...

We are taught to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other needs will be added.

Seek first and find.

And it is true ...

... but what when you find?

Do you keep seeking then?

We are taught so by the institutional church!

Even when you found, don't stop seeking ...

Yet, it is absolute stupidity to keep seeking once you have found.

But the institutional church is never satisfied with us. We must keep seeking no matter what!

What was Jesus saying when he spoke these words?

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mat 6:33

let's get the context.

Jesus was teaching the multitudes about treasures in heaven and light and money and the cares of this world when he said these words.

He was not saying that these other things are not important, but that discovering and receiving Himself as the very source of light and provision and peace and healing and health and freedom and authority far outweighs anything.

When do we actually find the kingdom of God?

Should we spend more time in His Word? Act more holy? DO something?

No!

When He was born from above (see this post) for our sake and we made a decision to receive Him, we were cloaked with His righteousness to the extent that we are the very righteousness of God. Therefore the one who has received Jesus has found the kingdom of God!

Can I say that again?

Once you have said yes to Jesus, you have found the kingdom of God.

Stop seeking!

Albert Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Don't act insane!

You are now an heir in the kingdom of God. Live like an heir!

All other things will be provided. You Father knows what you need. And He has already provided for it. It is up for grabs. Remember this post on prayer?

Stop seeking. Live your victory!

Christ in you is greater than he who is this world. As Christ is, so are you in this world!

You have sought. Now you have found!
