The trump card of the enemy is not just to make us feel guilty, but more so to make us feel ashamed ...

The law!
We are accused according to the law
Most of all the enemy reminds us that death is our inheritance, keeping us as far as he could from our true inheritance in Jesus - life and prosperity for evermore!
Behold the law - behold your own death.
Paul writes that unlike the Spirit of Jesus, the law is the administration of death!
You can not say that!
Really?
It's not a new thing
Paul warns to the Colossians about following the law, believing in false God's and not believing that Christ is God Himself manifested on human flesh. All of this find it's power in the law (our traditions and like things that we do). See 2 Corinthians 3:7 - it is the administration of death ....
So, what does Paul tell them?
Let's read.
And he [tallking about Jesus] is before all things, and by him all things consist.
And he is the head of the body, the church [ekklesia - those called out from amongst]: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness [plērōma - that which fills or with which an object is filled] dwell;
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things [the whole world and the heavens] unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked [ponēros - to be full of labours] works [ergon - toiling or business], yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: Col 1:17-22
Nothing we do or do not do can make Him undo what He has already done
Indeed we have been drawn close with cords of a man [Jesus], with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them. Hos 11:4
Our own works and toils and business of self-righteousness that we ever-so-often justify by the law, have no space in light of the finished work of Jesus.
