Eirēnē - Joint together!

Paul gives this remarkable, powerful insight in his letter to the Ephesians when he presents Jesus as our Peace.

Ever thought about Jesus as your peace?

Where are we reading?

"now in the Messiah Yahushua ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of the Messiah

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

And that he might reconcile both unto יהוה in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby" Eph 2:13-16

We have become one

Paul explains how in Jesus we have become one with God and that there is nothing dividing us from Him. The law that brought enmity between us and God (remember man at mount Sinai chose rather to live by a set of rules than in relationship with God) was nailed to the cross!

That's peace.

That's real peace!

... like Shalom Shalom peace!

One with One

When you become reconciled with the One, you once thought to be your enemy, and to such an extent that you become one with Him ... that's ultimate peace.

At one with Peace

...but get this:

The Greek word for peace is eirēnē that comes from a root word meaning: to be joint together and to be set at one again. WOW!

We are truely reconciled ... joint together by Jesus as the ultimate Love-offer ... Peace-offer!

Truly, in Him we live, and move, and have our being! Act 17:28

HalleluYAH!
