Tree of Righteousness

Charitoō

There was an appointed, exact time when Jesus closed the book (Isa 61) ... just as the appointed time arrived when He declared: "It is Finished" John 19:30

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. Luk 4:17-20
Jesus stopped His reading at "To preach the acceptable year of YHVH" and He closed the book.

What follows this sentence in Isaiah, Jesus did not read. Strategically.

Why?

The Good News is enough.  We are in the acceptable year of the Lord.

His vengeance on the adversary does not concern us as much as His love-message. Verse 2 reads: "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn"
That was His fight.

Vengeance is נָקָם nâqâm: quarrel; punishment and the pictograph reads: continue; back of the head; chaos (destruction) - conveying the pictured prophecy of the curse of the serpent that one day the Seed of the woman shall "shall bruise thy head" Gen 3:15

What happens after that? What is it that concerns us then?

Jesus says He is anointed with the Spirit, the Mighty Breath of YHVH, that is of Himself, to preach Good Tidings - בָּשַׂר bâśar: the Gospel; to confirm His goodness; to show His heart; to gladden with good news. The pictograph for Gospel is soooo awesome. It depicts: The house received a path. In other words: the temple (us) receiving the way (Jesus)! WoW!

HalleluYAH!

Isaiah continues ...
  • to preach good tidings
  • to bind up the brokenhearted
  • to proclaim liberty
  • to proclaim the acceptable division of time (the Hebrew root word refers to restoration) of YHVH
  • to comfort all that mourn
  • to appoint (onto) them that mourn in Zion (to set in place; ordain; transform; bring to pass)
  • to give onto them beauty ... joy ... praise
Why?

"... that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." (verse 3)

trees of righteousness is:
tree: אַיִל 'ayil or pillar of strength; strong oak; unmovable support beam. The pictograph pictures: strength hand authority and speaks of authority received from the Mighty Hand of YHVH (Jesus)
and righteousnessצֶדֶק tsedeq or justified; scaled or weighted; balanced to perfection; cleansed; vindicated. The picture shows:  hook pathway back of the head speaking of hooking onto the pathway at the core of the mind (soul). Our original design - to be the objects of His affection.

We are called Trees of Righteousness and we are rooted (established) by Almighty God Himself!

Isaiah makes sure we do not miss this part when he confirms just seven verses down that: "for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels."

Glory to Jesus!

So, Paul confirms the beautiful Good News in Romans 4: "Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for (because of) our justification.Rom 4:25

The pathway has been made for you to receive ... Yah'shua (Jesus)!

You are adorned with His blessings and free gifts!
