The condition of hâgâh

There is a certain condition which is the result of an intimate love affair. It is called hâgâh.

Hâgâh is the inability to stop thinking about the lover. So in love, you can't help but constantly find your mind consumed with the other. Thinking, over-thinking, yearning ... even whispering, muttering the Lovers Name under your breath, being lost in thought and mind towards that Person.

Whatchman?

God has given us an amazing gift that not even He will go against - this is the gift of FREE WILL.

... but are you responsible for the choices others make

... or do not make?

Will you be held accountable for not sharing the Gospel?

Be holy ... by fashioning ...

Peter says to be holy in 1 Peter 1 ...

He explains further on that the only way we obtain holiness is by the redemption blood of the Lamb, not by traditions or works or corruptible things of our own doing ...

Yet, we are often told to abide by the law and do what the law says to be in Gods good favour.

Can we obtain righteousness and holiness this way? Can we work for favour? Can we do to be?

Salvation's love-poem!

You are allured to be betrothed!

The words of Hosea reads like a love-poem of the Beloved.

Incidentally, the name Hosea or הוֹשֵׁעַ means Salvation.

The word spoken here brings the picture of the Groom leading His bride away from the distractions and deceptions of the temporal world and into the abundant provision and rest of the eternal sublime reality!

... adorned with jewels of righteousness! (Isa 61:10, Jer 31:4 and Rev 21:2)
